A very good sounding, very easy to assemble, very lightweight column speaker system from EV.
Great for playback use.
The all-round audio experience belies its compact size, with a low end that seamlessly joins with the high end. Some larger and more expensive systems from other brands do have a definate split between the two, but EV have launched a system that will satisfy many markets - DJs, schools, corporate, small bands, temporary installs, small theatre etc. The connecting pole acts as the power & signal link, as well as the support, so no cables needed for the top/bottom linking. There is a simple DSP at the rear of the 12" sub unit for control, with bluetooth capability and phantom power settings also in the menu.
